Hello and welcome to Bridgewater College! I am so excited to work with you and see what you do over the next four years! You are embarking on a new and exciting journey, and I am happy to help you in any way that I can along the way.

You're in the exceptionally unique situation of starting your college career in the midst of a pandemic while taking a class about pandemics. Much of the information you learn will not only be historical, but now will be connected with current events. 


While you're here at Bridgewater College, you'll want to take advantage of all of the services available to you. Here at the Forrer Learning Commons, you have a number of academic services available. The FLC is home to Academic Tutoring, the Digital Media Creatives, the Writing CenterCenter for Career Development, and of course, Library Services. When you visit, don't forget to stop at Smitty's Cafe for a cup of coffee or a yummy snack.

About Library Services

The library provides access to over 50,000 full-text journals, 26,000 e-books, and about 100 online databases which include thousands of streaming videos. We have a large collection of print books on the bottom floor of the FLC and a great reference collection on the main floor. The DVD collection and CD collection are browsable and available for check out.
