Decklan Wilkerson is a Bridgewater College history major with a concentration in public history. He is a member of the class of 2021. For the Special Collections exhibit, State of Change: Civil Rights and the Virginia Constitution, he contributed much of the interpretive text and images for many of the different sections, such as the sections on the Danville protests. He also wrote much of the text for introducing each subsection, such as the Lost Cause and Reconstruction section.
