Lost and Found - campus-wide

The Forrer Learning Commons is not responsible for any lost or left behind items in the Forrer Learning Commons (FLC). All unclaimed items or found items turned into the Public Services Desk will be placed in the FLC’s Lost and Found.

As a courtesy to our patrons, staff will make a reasonable attempt to determine and contact the rightful owner of the lost property if the property contains sufficient identifying information. Hazardous and perishable items will be discarded immediately.

  • For student IDs or identifiable items - FLC staff will attempt to contact patrons as a courtesy.
  • For wallets, keys, passports, laptops and mobile devices etc., these will be turned into Campus Police.
  • For unidentified items like food or drink containers, adapters/chargers, earbuds, eyeglasses, notebooks, journals, or loose paper, clothing such as sweatshirts, or umbrellas will be held until the end of the semester.

Unclaimed items will be donated to Goodwill, Mercy House, the Salvation Army, or Gift and Thrift or disposed of at the end of the semester.

Protocol: When contacting a student about their ID card, email help@bridgewater.edu too – to say that the card is at the FLC. Why – Often times  students go straight to the IT Center without checking anything and get a new card printed.
